BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Ravens Run is a unique day camp for kids 6-16 who love art! With approximately 100 campers and 25 staff members, Ravens Run provides an intimate and enriching art experience. We bring together professional artists and students to explore creativity in a supportive, inspiring and fun environment. We strive to give each child a rich visual & performing arts experience in a variety of media.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Dance, Theater, Musical Theater, Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, and more. Ravens Run Offers A Wide Assortment Of Art Classes Including: Digital Photography, Stained Glass, Glass Fusing, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Yoga, Magic, Cake Decorating, Ceramics (both Hand-building & Pottery Wheels), Mosaics, Claymation, Electives, Dance, Music & Theatre.
CAMP LOCATION: Ravens Run is located in the center of New Hope, Pennsylvania. We are housed at Kehilat HaNahar Synagogue on West Mechanic Street. We are not affiliated with the synagogue, but are fortunate to have use of their beautiful, air-conditioned building and outdoor space. Ravens Run is a short ride from Washington Crossing, Newtown, Doylestown, Buckingham, Lambertville, Stockton, New Hope and Solebury. We are in walking distance to the canal and the Delaware River.
CAMP FACILITIES: Ravens Run has air-conditioned classrooms, a social hall, a ceramics studio and beautiful, shady outdoor space.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ravens Run, New Hope’s Visual & Performing Arts Camp, brings together professional artists and students to explore the world of creativity in a supportive, inspiring and fun environment. At Ravens Run, children are encouraged to broaden their artistic horizons while developing technical skills. Campers learn to find their special creative spirit and no prior experience is necessary.
Campers will be exposed to a wide variety of artistic styles and media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, crafts, stained glass, photography, dance, yoga, music, magic, theatre, claymation and creative writing. We strive to give each child a rich art experience that fosters flexible thinking and creative problem solving skills.
Each session culminates with a spectacular camp-wide art show and performance. Ravens Run is both serious art and serious fun! Ravens Run is proud to have an outstanding staff of art teachers and professional artists who currently work in their fields.
Our experienced staff teaches and mentors students at all levels. They are committed to guiding students through a creative experience that develops their abilities and encourages their personal expression. Ravens Run counselors are bright, creative and caring college students who love working with children. Many are planning careers in the arts and/or teaching fields. Join us as we celebrate our 26th year of quality arts programming!
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Ravens Run offers a Young Adult Program for high school students. Campers who are 14-16 years old will be mentored by an art teacher while engaging in a full range of art classes.

Try-It week: June 22-26: $375
Session 1 (3 weeks) June 29-July 17: $995
Session 2 (3 weeks) July 20-August 7: $1025
6 Weeks: June 29-August 7: $1895
All 7 weeks: June 22-August 7: $2195
10% discount for each additional sibling Sessions 1 & 2 are independent of each other. Campers can attend either session and many attend both sessions. Each session culminates with a spectacular camp-wide art show and performance.
